Leaving Washington DC to sail for two years on the Atlantic coast and Caribbean, Keith bought a home, docking permanently in Myrtle Beach in 2007, where the saltwater is always close by. He lives there now with his blended family: Johnathan, Matthew, and four rescue dogs.
Keith enjoys sailing, SCUBA, yard work, and puttering on restoration projects that started with an old 60's sports car, an 1880s townhouse, a 1970s cruising sailboat, and more recently, another antique convertible. It takes patience, planning, and tenacity while being scrupulous with costs to get things right, but in the end, it's totally worth it. A little paint and polish always help.
Keith attended the University of Miami and graduated with a BS in Architecture from the University of Maryland. But instead of design, Keith pursued construction and development in DC, participating in several exciting projects with some very inspiring entrepreneurs and leaders.
"Everything that exists is in a state of balance, and moving anything substantial or making big changes only requires affecting that balance."
